A review of the Ruger LCR 9mm

Over the weekend I got to spend some range time and CCW time with the Ruger LCR in 9mm.GOODLike the entire LCR family, it has the fat Hogue grips. Nice.Ruger name. I trust Ruger.Light. One pound.Small. 6.5" long overall. It fires 9mm! How cool is that for a revolver?NEUTRALThe moon clips. Extra step to load/unload.Fires fine. OK accuracy with the 2" barrel.BADMuzzle flip and the feedback into your hand when firing. Not fun to shoot.Crappy cardboard box & zip-up floppy case it comes with.Long (medium weight) trigger pull. I like that for putting in my pocket/safety...but to actually fire, it's just not a super fun trigger. Perhaps its not supposed to be.Overall the LCR is a nice option for the CCW folks who want a revolver. I like it, albeit only if you can get it at a reasonable price. MSRP is $669.00 right now, but you'll find it in the low to mid 5's.NOT trying to spam my channel. I also did a video review HERE. via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2ooFSbw
