"How Much Do You Carry" Survey Results

Here are the results of the "How Much Do You Carry" Survey. There were two variations of the question, How Much You Typically Carry and How Much Do You Prefer to Carry.Out of 395 participants in the "Typically" question, the most common carry set up is one gun (5-9 rounds) without a reload.24% / 95 Votes: One Gun (5-9 rounds), Not Reload20% / 80 Votes: One Gun (14+ rounds), With Reload18% / 72 Votes: One Gun (5-9 rounds), With Reload16% / 65 Votes: One Gun (14+ rounds), No Reload11% / 44 Votes: One Gun (10-13 rounds), No Reload8% /30 Votes: One Gun (10-13 rounds), With Reload2% / 8 Votes: Two Guns, New York Reload and Spare Mag1% / 4 Votes: Two Guns, Just a New York ReloadThere were 294 participants for the "Prefer" question, the most common carry set up was one gun (14+ rounds) with a reload.36% / 105 Votes: One Gun (14+ rounds), With Reload15% / 43 Votes: One Gun (5-9 rounds), With Reload14% / 40 Votes: One Gun (10-13 rounds), With Reload12% / 34 Votes: One Gun (5-9 rounds), No Reload11% / 32 Votes: One Gun (14+ rounds), No Reload7% / 21 Votes: Two Guns, New York Reload and Spare Mag5% / 15 Votes: One Gun (10-13 rounds), No Reload1% / 4 Votes: Two Guns, Just a New York ReloadThis is very unscientific so I'm not going to try to analyze this too deeply but there is something interesting stuff to point out.First, we like capacity; the most popular "Prefer" set-up gives the most rounds except the most "Typically" is the least amount.Second, I'm going to guess the people that carry 2 guns without a spare mag are the same in both questions.Lastly, we either like our compacts (think G19) or our single stacks (G43) but not subcompacts (G26) as much. via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2nonjmE
