My college is hosting a discussion in a week about the ethics of carrying on campus. Can you help me with some good arguments/statistics that support campus carry?

On August 1st my college is allowing people with carry permits to bring their weapons on campus. In a week the philosophy department is having a forum where we will "examine arguments against, and in favor of, permitting guns on campus." and their effects on education, security, and freedom.I want to go into this prepared, as I might be one of the few people in favor of the new Bill, and was hoping you guys could point me toward some solid facts or arguments that support my stance.
