Have you ever had to draw your weapon? And did you have to fire?

I read through the comments on this post from a few years ago, and it got me wondering how often a bad situation plays out with no shots fired. I know you shouldn't hesitate to fire if the situation requires it, but how often does the criminal flee and make that choice unnecessary?I've looked at statistics for DGUs before, but because many sources define them differently the statistics seem to be all over the map.
