Friendly reminder, especially for those new to carrying: Concealed does not mean invisible. What you're doing is lawful. It generally is not the big deal we think it will be.Of course we don't want to print, for many reasons, but get your story worked out and don't sweat getting made.I've been made exactly once in over fifteen years, by a friend. But if a stranger asks, I will just dismiss it with "it's a scary world out there." And beyond that, it isn't there business. If it's a friend, I'm open to talking about why I carry. If it feels like a dirty secret, you might need to spend some time thinking on it.I see a growing circle of friends who carry, and the more their circle knows, the more it normalizes the concept.
