As usual, finding any sort of current gun law info on the internet from a reliable source is next to impossible.Can you carry into gun free zones in Michigan if you get the "special exemption" or whatever it's called on your CPL? I remember hearing this in the news in 2016 that you could take an extra class and gain extra credentials to carry in gun free zones like schools, hospitals, and stadiums over 2,500 people. Upon extensive googling all I could really find was articles from 2015/2016 talking about how the bill would pass, but can't find a single damn thing saying if it actually passed or not?My father has a newer CPL issued in 2016 and it has that extra checkbox, yet most cops and gun people i've talked to in recent months have no idea what i'm talking about.If this is a thing, where can I sign up for this "extra class"? via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2n5MejC
