Has anyone else had a dream/nightmare about having to draw?

I've been carrying my Glock 19 in an Aliengear Cloak Tuck at 3 o'clock every day for about 2 months now, and I just had a dream/nightmare about having to draw. In my dream I was going to the dentist in my work truck (which I wouldn't do in real life). When I got out of the dentist I went to my truck and opened the driver's door and saw that the seat had been moved forwards so you could get stuff out from behind the seats. Next I realized that the passenger side door was open, and that made me panic because we've had two work tablets stolen out of the trucks recently. I checked in the center console to see if the tablet was still there and it was, so I went around and closed the passenger side door. Then I went and sat in the driver's seat to calm down before I drove away. While I was sitting there someone started walking up to the door dressed in black wearing a ski mask and holding a knife. I hadn't started the truck yet and the keys were still in my pocket, so I couldn't get to them easily. I drew my gun right as they got to the door and reached to open it. They saw my gun pointed at them and froze for a second, then walked to the back of the truck. I didn't know if they were getting out a different weapon or getting an accomplice so I got the keys out of my pocket, started the truck, and backed towards them. They jumped out of the way and I drove away, got to a safe location (gas station a mile away) and called 911 and told them what happened, where it happened, and gave a description of the guy.How did I react? Anything I could have done differently? Even though it was a dream it obviously felt very real and I'm surprised the adrenaline didn't wake me up. Has anyone else here had dreams where they had to draw and/or fire? via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2o2gewo
