Shot a shield for the first time a few days ago

First I have to say the trigger pull is a little longer than I prefer but not a deal breaker. The way this gun handles recoil is absolutely incredible for a gun this size. A few weeks ago we shot the G19 and I have a 320C 9mm and the shield handles the recoils just as well as my 320 and better than the 19 (just my opinion).  Now for the question. Has anyone here shot the shield as well as the xd-s, lc9s, and hk p30. We are looking for a carry gun for my fiance and she really liked the shield. She held the lc9s and the sig 938 and really liked both of those as well, so i was hoping to get some comparisons on them. Our range has a xd-s, a lc9, the p30, and the 938 to rent, but is there anything else this sub would suggest? I have seen a few on here suggesting some walthers among others so let's get some suggestions. I want her to shoot as many as she can before we buy, although I'm pretty sure I'm going to buy the shield anyway and if she won't carry it i can :) Thanks guys!Edit: Budget is pretty much anything under $1000.
