Hey everyone, I just recently picked up a leather DeSantis holster from my LGS for my sig 1911 tacops carry. The problem is that they didn't have a commander length holster that fit the gun but they did have a full size holster. The excess length doesn't really bother me but concealment would be easier if the holster wasn't as long. I was wondering if anyone had any experience trimming these holsters down or knew if doing so would compromise the overall structural integrity of it and cause the stitching to unravel.
