A quick update on the "no security on campus" situation

Hello, my favorite community on Reddit!This is a quick update on the “no security on my campus” situation:I had the meeting with the vice president of my school (and the dean of students) and I was very pleased! It definitely went well. So, although there’s no official security on campus while I’m in class they do have emergency response teams and plans. One thing they’ll be doing is sending out photos of Crazypants and his vehicle to the guys who drive around in golf carts all over campus. I’m not exactly sure what their role is, but they’re everywhere and having them keep an eye out for Crazypants would be a huge help. Also the faculty in the buildings where I have classes will be made aware of the general situation but not that it involves me. Basically, making people aware without singling me out. Awesome. They’ll also be informing the local PD so the officers who patrol the campus will be aware of the situation as well.Also, I had a meeting with someone at work. I won’t go into details, but they’re going above and beyond and then some. And a little extra after that. I’m absolutely blown away by how they’re handling this and what they’re willing to do if/when the situation escalates. This company is bursting with integrity.Hopefully my next update will be me showing off whichever pistol I wind up buying! (I say hopefully because that would mean that there haven’t been any stalking incidents.. Here’s hoping!)Thank you guys for being so helpful and friendly.
