A family member who resides in California had a life threatening situation involving 2 burglars (Some details below). What are California Self defense laws/regulations? and are you able to acquire CC for home defense?.

As stated, a family member of mine had a life threatening situation where 2 burglars were trying to enter their home. They were able to unlock the door but family member was there in time to stop that. They initially pretended that they were previous owners of the house and to open the door to check it out. They tried to forcefully enter but once police were involved they took off running in their vehicle. Family member lives in an "expensive?" part of SoCal near LA. Whether or not the 2 were armed we have no idea (if they had entered the home, who really knows what could have happened and to what extent they would have gone but it's also things like this you have to consider when defending yourself, family and property). via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2n86xfF
