IWB seems uncomfortable, inconvenient, and a hassel. But it seems like it's the most popular way to carry here. Tell a noob why he's wrong

Just applied for my license and am starting to shop around. To me it seems like the best way for me to carry is in the back pocket, but lots of posts seem against that and by and afar the most popular way on this sub seems to be IWB. But I don't want to dress around my gun and I feel like if my shirt comes up I could get made. But I'm sure you guys know more than me.
