went to talk to my coworker about hearing him talking shit behind my back, My coworker must of felt threatened because I was mad but I had no intention to fight when I met with him to chat, unfortunately my coworker must of had other plans
I was in a small room with him and got trapped in. I pushed my body into his chest to prevent him from cocking his arm back to hit me with the Brass Knuckles and the short steel pole. I was thinking about putting him in a chole hold but I was worried about him violently swinging his arms backwards to hit me. I would of normally just eat the backwards punches but with Brass Knuckles and a Steal Pole, I was worried about the damage I could take.
So while closed in on his chest to prevent him from cocking his arm back, I saw a quick opening to push off of him and make a run for it. He caught with 1 punch to the face with the Brass Knuckles when I made my push off. I got super lucky and only needed 2 stitches inside my mouth and a gash on my cheek.
My question is - what should have I done in that situation to protect myself ?
