My friend who is a very small woman carries a snap blade retractable utility knife(falçata in Turkish) for self defense. I've told her quite a few times that due to the blade being weak it'd be very useless in a self defense situation. I've also told her any blade wielded by her is very bad for her in a self defense situation due to her small size.
I have been trying to get her to pick up pepper spray as she has neither the resources or laws to get a small gun. Never mind getting the training.
Can you help me convince her? I need to show her bladed weapons are useless for self defense by smaller people and also show her that pepper spray is very effective.
