Is this a crazy assumption to make?

We are constantly being told how there are 30k+ deaths a year from guns, but then the other side of that is all the DGUs which are estimated to be from 500k to 2 million a year.Would saying to someone wringing their hands about gun violence that 1370 (500k/365 days) people today were saved by having a firearm to protect themselves compared to the 82 (30k/365 days) that were killed be unreasonable or silly? via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/31T5b9G
