I was walking my dog around my neighborhood the other day. I saw what I thought was a dog in someone's front yard, but as I got closer I realized it was a coyote.I turned around to try to avoid a potential situation between the coyote and my dog, but the coyote started following us. It got within about 15 yards and I at that point I flat-out sprinted away. It trotted after us for a little while, but lost interest when we were far enough away.If it got to the point where this coyote was posing aggressively right next to me and my dog, would I be justified in drawing and firing? Would it have to be attacking me? What if it was attacking my dog? I'm having trouble finding any concrete answers online about this, and I want to know what my legal options are if I ever encounter this again. via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/2MFZUNI
