Reason I'm asking is because I've seen tons of posts saying that . 40 either sucks or is a bad idea, as you should either go for a 9mm because modern ballistic strength, manageable recoil, higher capacity, or a . 45 because of the higher force and power, that . 40 has terrible recoil and is 'negligible' in terms of it's strength advantage over 9mm. What are your thoughts on it as an EDC? I honestly have not considered it but I need a new, more compact EDC and the Shield 40 caught my eye. via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/2olDnvO
