Could I keep my gun in my car in this case?

Hello, I’m currently applying for my FL conceal carry license and I work in a school.I took my gun training course with a former cop and he made some good points from Chapter 790FL doesn’t allow weapons in their REAL property and this does not include a parking lot.Although it’s legal to carry a weapon in your car in FL if you don’t have a license, it’s illegal for you to keep a gun in your car enter a school parking lot, with the now if you do have a license, you are allowed.A sign that says “gun-free zone” is not a law, and it’s not above FL law, so if I do have a conceal carry by FL I’m legally allowed to carry a weapon in the car. Some schools or districts may adopt written policies in which case, I’d have to abide by those policies. Now I work for OCPS, I’ve tried to find any kind of law that would say so and I’m having a hard time finding anything. Given that most schools administrators are very liberal I don’t feel comfortable asking this to an administrator in fear that they might look at me differently. This is the closest thing I was able to find relating bringing weapons, https://ift.tt/2HjGeNw I’m not sure if by school property, this means REAL property and again doesn’t include the parking lot. And it also says Students and visitors cause I wasn’t able to find anything regarding school staff.Could someone guide me as of to what would be legal for me to do?Update: here’s a more broad site with all of OCPS’s policies OCPS policies via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/2v7Cc64
