Today marks 4 years since my DWI conviction in NC. At the time I had a CCP but I was not carrying when I was stopped for the DWI. Since sufficient time has passed and I have grown personally I would like to get another permit since the crime in my area has been increasing at an alarming rate. From my interpretation of the statutes I should be fine in getting a new permit since time has passed(>3years), but I don't want to go through the process and pay all the cash if it is only going to be a dead end. Does anyone know of someone in a similar situation who was able to get another permit? via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2nr204D
