I'm looking to get my first handgun for everyday carry. I live in a state with constitutional carry. I've got a couple of friends who carry, one has a Taurus TCP and another has a Bersa Thunder. I've heard good things about both of those, but I've been looking into lots of other potential options as well (XD-S, Shield, S&W 642, stuff like that). I don't want to just copy them, after all ;)As someone who has done some shooting but has yet to own my own weapon, what would you kind folks recommend?
