Am I an idiot, misguided, or stupid for trying to be the most easy going, push over, laid back, accommodating, smiling guy when I'm in public and dealing with strangers? My non CCWing friends, family, and acquaintances sometimes say I'm too nice.

I've had a lot of training and acquired some skill but I have no desire to get into a physical situation over bullshit. The more training I get the more I realize any altercation is a huge gamble. I carry a gun to protect myself from robbery, mugging, car jacking etc.My personal philosophy is a lot of us do and say stuff because it makes us feel better. Tailgating another driver, making a nasty remark to an inconsiderate shopper, flipping someone off, etc. It's all stuff that exposes us to risk and the only payoff is it makes us feel better by doing it. via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2mzSKM1
