After plenty of thought and quickly being talked into buying a 9mm instead of a .45, I was able to compare a 4"Springfield XD and a 9mm shield, the shield felt too small for my hands and I didn't really like it but the XD fit just right.So the question is, is the 4" XD too big for a ccw? What I really liked about it was the grip length being a tad bit longer compared to the shield and also comparing to the XD-S from a picture it looks longer. It make it much more comfortable to me when my hand isn't hanging off the bottom at all. So what would you guys recommend?
