We all know about the problems the P320 had and still has. From the resolved drop safety issue to spontaneous discharges, this gun is just not safe. There is a serious design flaw in the system, which could be mended by a physical firing pin block (not just a safety lever) but cannot be really fixed, since SIG nor anyone else can figure out what is really causing the issue.
