This scenario popped into my head the other day and I just wanted to hear your guys' opinion on how the situation could play out, and what the best course of action is.We all know that if you are by yourself and are involved in a DGU, you call the police and tell them that you were in fear for your life, that you will cooperate with the investigation, but that you would not make any further comments/statement until you have legal representation (since anything you say WILL be used against you.)Let's say now that you're with a friend or SO. You get involved in a DGU. You call the cops and give the standard response. But then they turn to the person you're with and ask them questions. What's the best course of action for them? Would it be to give the same response? Let's pretend they're hysterical and not as level headed as you and gave a statement. What if that statement had anything that was untrue in it? How would that affect you since you were the one that pulled the gun?Hope the situation I'm presenting is clear. Let me know what you guys think, or if you have any legal insight. Thanks. via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/2p6FKmY
