Seven yards, large targets, and use both hands! This is an easy course of fire, large targets, close distance, and we've received great feedback regarding this course of fire.Note: Beginning this month, your submission photograph must contain the firearm in a concealment holster.EntrySeptember 27th is the final day for entries. Scoring will take place from the 27th through September 30th. To be considered for entry, your scoring photograph must be submitted as a comment on or before the 27th of the month.Targetshttps://i.imgur.com/uwhz2Nt.jpgThis course of fire requires two 3x5 index cards, and two 8.5x11 sheets of paper. Assemble two targets as pictured, each with a "head" and a "body."Shooter will fix each target together using a choice of tape, staples, or glue.Shooter may use ink or pencil markings to increase visibility.Targets will be placed at a distance no closer than seven yards from the shooter's muzzle.Course of FireShooter will begin with a total of twelve rounds of ammunition, separated into two magazines, each magazine containing six rounds of ammunition.Mozambique-style: two shots to the chest, one shot to the head.Shooter will Mozambique each target, reload, and Mozambique each target againThis course of fire will result in the targets each containing two headshots and four body shots.Submission RequirementsOverall Winner:To be entered for Overall Winner, submit a single well-lit photograph displaying both targets and Shooter's firearm inside a concealment holster. Shooter must sign each of their targets with their name (or username) and date.Second Place and Third Place:To be entered for Second and Third Place, the entire course of fire must be captured, uninterrupted, on video and submitted along with the still photograph for Overall Winner submission.As our matches are growing larger, we will be increasingly stricter on submission requirements. Please ensure your entry photograph displays both targets, signed and dated, and your firearm. For the visual learners among us, please see these previous Match entries as examples of what we expect. Note that beginning this month, your submission photograph must contain your firearm inside a concealment holster.Scoring and PrizesThree winners will be chosen by the Match Sponsor. The Overall Winner will be scored on accuracy by the Match Sponsor. Accuracy is defined by the culmination of all shots fired across all targets. Second Place and Third Place are chosen by the Match Sponsor, who will set their own metric for those positions. Such supplementary scoring may include most misses, best/worst times, best/worst groupings, best/worst magazine change, or any metric of their choosing (including completely random/arbitrary metrics). The Match Sponsor will be responsible for all scoring and distribution of prizes.Exclusions/r/CCW Moderators are prohibited from winning prizes.Rimfire calibers and shotshells are prohibited.Barrels exceeding six inches are prohibited.Optics containing magnification are prohibited.Use of a bench rest, stock, brace, or similar physically-supportive device is prohibited.Failure to use both eye and ear protection will result in disqualification.We greatly appreciate Beltman's willingness to sponsor this match.
