Self defense while on blood thinners: legal standard lowered?

I'm more likely to die as a result of not clotting as I take blood thinners permanently despite being middle aged, I have since I was in my twenties. Since I'm more likely to die of a blow, bullet or stab wound as a result of not clotting, is there any case law that shows there is a lower standard for self defense?

  1. I have the same exact question. I have been taking blood thinners since I was in my 30s; 20 years now.

  2. I believe that yes , its a different standard. But regardless im not letting anyone assault me. I take Warfarin so a regular fist fight could kill me. So my opinion my outlook is if someone is trying to hurt me im using my gun or any object available to end the threat instantly
