My CCW is finally in the mail, so I’m looking to get an AIWB holster for my G19. I have two questions, the first, do you guys think AIWB or IWB at 4 o clock would be more comfortable for a new carrier? I would practice drawing and reholstering unloaded a lot, then loaded at the range so I believe I will be comfortable carrying appendix, but I don’t know what will be more comfortable.Secondly, should I go for a hybrid holster or all kydex? I’m looking at either the crossbreed reckoning or the raven eidolon/vedder lighttuck/Dara or an “appendix rig” type holster like the T. rex sidecar or tier 1 axis slim. I have watched some videos and read some things stating that hybrid holsters can be unsafe because of the soft backing, causing a lack of retention and some of them don’t cover the trigger guard completely.
