I carry a gen 1 shield PC when I don't feel like going with a full sized 1911. I've also been thinking about adding a red dot to a pistol as my vision is getting worse and their advantages are being flushed out. So I'm thinking about getting rid of my shield and replacing it with this new 2.0 version:https://www.personaldefenseworld.com/2019/04/mp-shield-performance-center-4-inch/I like the longer barrel, and the built in red dot route would certainly be cheaper than adding one to my gun, believe it or not. But I can't seem to find anyone with real-world experience with them, just paid articles and stuff.
