Can the PD check your medical records and reject you?

I made the biggest mistake of my life and told my psychiatrist I used hard drugs before and now it’s on my medical record under “substance abuse”. I know drug users are not allowed to get guns. Will they check my medical records and deny me? via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/2LGWISA
