I recently purchased a Springfield XDS online from out of state (SC if it matters). I had it shipped to an FFL near me here in NC and understand that to pick it up, I have to do a background check and provide a CC permit. What I and the FFL holder are not sure about is whether that permit must be a NC permit or can be a permit with reciprocity in NC? In this case a Virginia non-resident permit.
