Recommendations for first (and last?) gun to get? Less than $1000, ideally.

Seeing a lot of "can't spend over $450" posts asking for recommendations and that seems to cut out half of what I am considering, though I accept the best choice may only be $400.Anyway, what should I get? Cost is not a big factor as long as it seems justified. I'm considering appendix carry and am a normal sized guy (height, somewhat skinny, not fat). I was leaning towards a Ruger, but they do not seem to have as many holsters specifically for them like many Springfield and S&W guns.Sell me on the one gun I won't regret. via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2hze96O
