I picked up an m&p compact 1.0 for my CCW, the minimal recoil and low bore are fantastic. I just can't shoot it well even after 600 rounds and an Apex trigger. I have MS so my hands are weak and sensation in my fingers is very limited. I shot an Springfield emp 40 yesterday and managed a 2-3 inch grouping on my first magazine which is incredibly better than my m&p. I'm considering trading my m&p for a Glock 19 or Ruger American compact due to the light, crisp triggers I've felt in them. I can't afford a 1911 or shooting a 45 or 40 as often as I'd like.
