I am hoping for some clarification on the legality of concealed carrying fixed blade knives in Missouri, with or without a CCW permit. Is it outright illegal, or are there some stipulations here? The Missouri law on knives is pretty confusing...Edit: I found this link https://ift.tt/2Vust4X which I think contradicts what Ive read elsewhere, that you /CAN/ concealed carry a knife "except where firearms are restricted". And that a knife is not the same thing as a pocket knife. Where as elsewhere it says that knives can /NOT/ be concealed, except a folding pocket knife with a blade under 4 inches.Edit 2: 571.010 says: (12) "Knife", any dagger, dirk, stiletto, or bladed hand instrument that is readily capable of inflicting serious physical injury or death by cutting or stabbing a person. For purposes of this chapter, "knife" does not include any ordinary pocketknife with no blade more than four inches in length;571.030 says: 571.030. Unlawful use of weapons — exceptions — penalties. — 1. A person commits the offense of unlawful use of weapons, except as otherwise provided by sections 571.101 to 571.121, if he or she knowingly: (1) Carries concealed upon or about his or her person a knife, a firearm, a blackjack or any other weapon readily capable of lethal use into any area where firearms are restricted under section 571.107; orThats all it says. So maybe those websites are outdated, and you can concealed carry a fixed blade knife? via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/2W4pEa7
