GA Residents trying to get a permit....read this post.

It is my understanding that due to the current closures Georgian's are being denied permits because they can't go into the Sheriff's office in person.Not that I think it will really work, but you should seek a permit WITHOUT having to go into the Sheriff's office.If they'll hand out Driver's Licenses without the need for any in person activities and they are waiving existing ones, they should hand out CCW permits the same way.It may also be worth a gun rights group filing a lawsuit on this basis.EDIT: GeorgiaCarry.org already has an action related to gun permit app suspension.
