Very new to concealed carry, have a few questions/worries

I just got my permit and have not purchased a gun yet. I am aware that it is necessary/best to have the gun loaded while carrying; however, I have a young daughter who I am usually carrying/looking after as a SAHM. This is probably a dumb worry, but my biggest fear is that while carrying my gun will somehow fire and hurt her or myself. Is this even a thing?
