Philippines - 1 day, but...

https://imgur.com/a/3WCGnLrHere’s the thing:the Permit to Carry expires in 1 year. A permit is required for each and every gun we bring outside in public.getting the permit presupposes you already had your gun registered (each gun must be registered, which registration expires every 4 years), and that you secured a gun license (expires every 2 years, you can’t even buy a gun [legally] without this). And the gun license has different types according to how many guns you may own, this translates to: more guns = more bureaucratic paperwork.Firearms here cost an arm & a leg. This Shield went for P42,000, which is roughly $840. OEM Shield magazines cost about $70 (I can’t wait for the ETS mags). Glocks cost more or less the same. I’ve seen HK pistols priced at $2,000+.officially, the rules only allow off-body carry.ammo is limited by law to 50 rounds only per gun (unless you have the papers that prove you’re a sports shooter)I didn’t vote for the current president.• State/County: Philippines, the permit is valid nationwide• Processing Time: 1 day with all the requirements squared away• Gear/Planned Setup: Shield 9• Training Completed/Scheduled: The basic gun safety seminar. If anyone knows about other classes in my country please let me know• Thoughts: a flat belly is ideal for CC’ing. But pizza is life.Edit: I forgot to mention, every presidential, congressional, or mayoral election, there is a nationwide gun ban usually 6 months. via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/2KT7xk7
