Hi friends. As the title says, the ejector has worked loose in my S&W Shield 9mm. I think this is because I was using the 8 round magazine without the sleeve. I didn't know this at the time, but there isn't an over-insertion stop, so I was bending the ejector. I contacted S&W customer service about it and they said they could fix it, but I'd have to send it in and I wouldn't get it back for 5 or so weeks. This is my only pistol and I don't want to stop carrying for that long, so here are my two questions:S&W said that they couldn't send the part to me, but I can buy them on Midwest Gunworks. Has anyone used that site before, or is there a better place that I should look? I have the tools to replace it if I can just get the part.Is there another pistol that doesn't have this issue?
