Something I was having 'shower thoughts' on: How much of a culture shock would it be for an officer from an anti gun region where carrying is virtually banned to a pro gun state where he/she first encounters a legal carrier?

I ask bc I've read forums of NYPD officers who lateral to Florida, Texas, Arizona, Vegas or a closer pro gun state like Pennsylvania or Ohio. I can imagine how shocking it'd be to see an open carrying citizen or someone who hands you their permit calmly during a traffic stop. I wonder if the FTO will warn them in advance that this activity that's 10000% illegal in New Jersey or NYC or Maryland is perfectly normal here. via /r/CCW http://bit.ly/2TjJLOd
