On December 30th Utah will enforce the lowest BAL law in the nation. While the law is designed to target impaired drivers, it certainly has implications for posessing a firearm while legally intoxicated. Best practice is obviously not to carry if you intend to have a sip. However, if you have ONE beer or ONE glass of wine and happen to be in possession of an otherwise legally concealed firearm, there is a very real possibility that your life will be significantly fuckered up.Rumor has it that law enforcement arent changing their current tactics to identify those that may be over the legal limit.
