I understand that it is justifiable homicide/use of a gun when you are in danger of bodily injury or even death; but what about when they are people stealing your property? For example if someone broke into my house, is put my property into a bag but is not approaching me in anyway. Under what circumstances in this situation would I be justified in use of deadly force or in injury by firearm? Another example, I am working with my garage open, walk away, come back and see 3 guys taking my tools, I am holding a gun toward them, if they continue to take my property, am I legally justified in using my firearm?
