People who take a small gun and make it bigger are kind of missing the point

I occasionally carry a G43 with the standard capacity magazine, so 6+1. It conceals great, because the hardest part of a handgun to conceal is the grip. That's what prints. But there's an entire cottage industry----think Taran Tactical---based around extended capacity baseplates for that tiny little pistol. So you end up with a 9+1 G43 that's longer than a G19 in the most critical place for concealment. WHY?Carry a spare mag. That way you add 6 rounds for a total of 13 on board. Or carry a G26 with a spare--and that spare can be a G17 mag with a sleeve. The point of a subcompact like the G43 is that it's easy to hide. Why make it as difficult to hide as a larger pistol, and still not gain the ammo capacity? via /r/CCW http://bit.ly/2PVko3q
