The age limit to purchase and carry a concealed weapon needs to be 18.

I have no idea where I should post something like this, but there was a stabbing attack on my college campus today (article below). The University of Texas allows for concealed carry on campus, however you must be 21 to own a handgun and obtain a license to carry in the state of Texas. As a 20 year old, I feel that I am stripped of my second amendment right to protect myself and loved ones in the face of danger. If I were to be one of the unlucky few who had encountered the attacker on campus I would have been helpless to protect myself and those around me. Why should I have to wait to be 21 to have the capability to protect myself, when evil shows no regard for age.
