My girlfriend is from New York and is going to college in SC with me. I've recently gotten her into guns and we're thinking about her permit in the near future. She plans to live in SC after college. Since she is not a resident of SC, and needs to be in order to take the CCW class and get licensed I believe, I was wondering if there was a way to work around things. I've heard a brief mention of people buying 1x1 ft plots of land in SC in order to meet the criteria for the residency. Is there truth to that, or is it practical?
