Do LCP II Magazines work in original LCP?

I know the original LCP 6 round magazines are compatible with the LCP II, but I want to know if the LCP II Magazines will work in the original LCP (i.e. backwards compatible). Would really appreciate it if someone to test and confirm if they have both. via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2elwgfx
