Recommendations for .22 or .38 "snake shot" pistol?

Tl;Dr: A small, light pistol chambered in a low caliber to fire "rat/snake shot" rounds. Durability is a must.As spring is arriving and fish are beginning to spawn, I find myself more and more at the creek or the side of a lake/pond. And with this warmer weather there arises the issue of the cold-blooded reptiles who begin to sunbathe. Usually I let the snakes and turtles do their thing, but we all know snappers and cottonmouths like to personally check to see if you have a fishing license.I'm looking for a light powered pistol for defense against nature which can also be put in a pocket or tackle box. Not trying to break the bank because it may be subject to a mind torture test - possibility of submergance, physical bumps and knocks, water usually has has mud, silt, and sand (which we know gets everywhere).Any recommendations for something concealable and lightweight for the requirements stated? I appreciate any help. Also it's my first time in this sub, hello!(If this is in the wrong sub please let me know) via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/2VsnNfT
