This evening I found myself drunkenly confronting a guy that was obviously abusing his female companion. I felt confident enough to confront him because of the considerable number of people that had seen what was going on and were watching it all go down. I ended up getting my ass knocked out by this guy because of my lack of experience, and confidence in the anticipated support of the people around me. From what I was told the on lookers did nothing and let him leave with the women in question. My friends took me home and here I am, asking for help. If anyone here knows of a quality self defense instructor in the San Marcos, TX area please let me know. Life lessons have proven to me that you cannot rely on the crowd to have your back. I'm looking for someone to teach me how to handle myself no matter who or what they're wielding. My goal is to never let myself fail in the face of physical adversary again, especially when it comes to the well being of others. Any information or advise will help, thank you.
