My SO is going on a 2 month work training trip in January. I got her a gun for her to take with her, and she isn't untrained by any stretch. The problem is we're in NC and she works 6-7 days a week right now so she has very little time to take the 8 hour course required here in NC, and it would have to be on a Sunday which is hard to find to begin with.Plus, it would probably take the full legal limit (45 days I think) where we are even if we did manage to get her into a Sunday class one week.I know there's gotta be a state that will issue a non-resident permit with either no class certificate, or a shorter safety course certificate.
