Let's say someone wants to attack me, and I've done everything right; large step back, say "No" multiple times, hands up in the universal "no" gesture, but the guy just won't stop *aggressively walking towards me. As far as I can tell, he doesn't have a weapon in his hand.He's a military-age athletic male, and I'm the opposite of all that but gender. There's no way I can outrun him for long, and then I'll have to try to fight him while sucking wind.Do I have to fight him empty-handed for legal reasons? I'd hate to win that fight and then lose the one in the courtroom; the whole point of self-defense is going home to your family. (Note: In my state, pepper spray, batons, and large knives are all legal to carry in addition to firearms.
