When it comes to reliability in a carry revolver, who wins out — Smith & Wesson (Model 36/Chief’s Special) or Colt (Detective Special)?

I don’t want to get into a pistol vs revolver argument, let it be known that my preference is for revolvers and .38 SPL is the largest round that I am comfortable with. I’m buying used, and obviously the Detective Special will be at least 23 years old. They both seem about equal and I am trying to make an educated decision. via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/2QyedTE
