So I work at a small airport in Virginia and ran into an airport LEO today. I wanted to know for sure if this was a place a could or could not concealed carry (before TSA checkpoint in public area). The officer advised me the point of a ccw permit is the ability to hide the weapon and that he wouldn't personally arrest me. He seemed pretty wishy washy on whether or not it was "legal". For the record VA law dictates that "no firearm" signs at businesses are NOT force of law, you can only be asked to leave/tresspassed.Where can I figure out for sure if I'm allowed to have the firearm on me at a public airport in VA prior to the TSA area? via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/2D3IDdH
